Selling a Charlotte home? Get a Home Price Evaluation
Today, I'm going to speak about two different ways to look at a home's sellability. You can look at sellability as a buyer and also as a seller.
When you look at the sellability of your home as a seller, you should ask yourself why you bought it in the first place. What sold you on your home originally? If you can answer this question, then you know what you need to feature in your home's listing. Chances are that the same selling points that convinced you to buy will also convince someone else to buy.
As a buyer, the biggest thing to look at is how you might sell the home that you're about to purchase. How would you sell your future home? What features would you highlight, and what problem areas are there with the home? Does it have a large garage, or a big backyard?
Another question to ask yourself is whether you could sell your home for the amount that you're paying now. Sellability is important when you purchase a home, because houses are investments for the future. You don't want to purchase a property that you can't turn around and sell for a similar price.
