Today I am going to walk through how to purchase a home. Good homes are selling very quickly in Charlotte, so I think it's important that you know the process of buying. This could aid you in our competitive market, and may be the difference between winning or losing in a multiple offer situation. 

Price is an important consideration. Whenever you're negotiating an offer, it's very important to keep in mind the true market value of the home. The true market value of a home is different for everyone because everyone sees a different value in a home. Someone may think a given home is worth $300K, while another buyer may only be willing to offer $280K. 

We don't recommend giving a full-price offer, but rather giving an offer that you find to be appropriate before settling with the seller on different terms in the contract. Perhaps you could negotiate for them to pay the closing costs and also for a home warranty.
