Today I'm going to be speaking about the home selling process and what happens before, during and after your Charlotte home is sold. I've had quite a few clients asking me about this because they haven't been in the market for some time, so I'm going to refresh your memories.
- Before we even come out to your home, we send you estimates and perform a comparable market analysis (CMA) on your home.
- After this, we will come out and determine the condition of your home, which will aid us in appraising it relative to what's available on the market.
- Next, listing documents will be filled out and your home will be priced using the CMA. Trends will be observed and your home will be priced accordingly.
- After this process, a professional photographer will come in and make your home look beautiful to potential buyers. Most people search for homes online, so getting really good pictures for your home is ultra-important in the modern real estate market. Ask about our 71-point checklist for this process.
- Once the photography is done and the rest of the pre-listing work is completed, we will list your property and begin to show it to potential buyers. The pre-listing process usually takes 3-4 days, but don't worry if it takes you longer.
