Today I'm going to be speaking about the home selling process and what happens before, during and after your Charlotte home is sold. I've had quite a few clients asking me about this because they haven't been in the market for some time, so I'm going to refresh your memories.

  • Before we even come out to your home, we send you estimates and perform a comparable market analysis (CMA) on your home.
    • After this, we will come out and determine the condition of your home, which will aid us in appraising it relative to what's available on the market.
    • Next, listing documents will be filled out and your home will be priced using the CMA. Trends will be observed and your home will be priced accordingly.
  • After this process, a professional photographer will come in and make your home look beautiful to potential buyers. Most people search for homes online, so getting really good pictures for your home is ultra-important in the modern real estate market. Ask about our 71-point checklist for this process.
  • Once the photography is done and the rest of the pre-listing work is completed, we will list your property and begin to show it to potential buyers. The pre-listing process usually takes 3-4 days, but don't worry if it takes you longer.

After your listing goes live is when the real fun begins. Showings will happen frequently and buyers will start throwing down offers on your home. That's where we come in and negotiate for the highest possible price on your property.

If you need assistance getting your Charlotte home ready for sale, then please don't hesitate to contact my team or me. We'd love to assist you in any way!
