If you try to sell your home in November, December, or January, will you get as much for it as could if you waited? Many agents will tell you that it's the worst time to sell your home - statistically, these months have the lowest amount of sales.

On the other hand, there isn't nearly as much competition among sellers during the late fall and early winter months. When you average the two to see how many homes are actually selling and how long they spend on the market, you'll find that November, December, and January are better months to sell your home, get quicker results, and potentially get a higher dollar amount.

Any time you're looking to sell your home, there's usually is a better time for your particular neighborhood. The most important thing to look at when selling a home is the amount of competition, not only in your neighborhood, but in your price range. If there are 30 homes in your price range active on the market, with only four under contract, the odds of you selling quickly and for top dollar are not in your favor.

So, if you want to maximize your home sale, you need to act strategically. We would love to help you do that in the upcoming months. Give us a call or shoot us an email if you want to take advantage of this wide open market. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
